Copyright & DMCA Policy

We respect intellectual-property rights and respond to clear notices of copyright infringement. This page explains how to send one, and how to respond if your material was removed.

The short version

If you own the copyright in something shown on Myfavecamgirl and believe it’s used here without permission, send us a notice with the details below and we’ll act on it promptly. Because we host no media ourselves — streams, photos, and videos live on the performers’ own third-party platforms — the fastest route for most content is the platform that hosts it, but we will still remove or disable anything we display once a valid notice reaches us.

Before you file: are you a performer?

If you’re a cam performer who simply wants your own page taken off the site, you don’t need this formal process at all. Use our removals pageinstead — it’s quick, needs no legal paperwork, and no explanation is required.

How to send a copyright notice

Send your notice by email to info@myfavecamgirl.com with “Copyright Notice” in the subject line. This is our contact for copyright and takedown matters.

To be effective, your notice should be in writing and include all of the following (this mirrors the requirements of the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)):

  • your physical or electronic signature (typing your full legal name is fine for an emailed notice);
  • identification of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed — or, if several works, a representative list;
  • identification of the material you say is infringing, with enough detail for us to find it — ideally the exact URL(s) on myfavecamgirl.com;
  • your contact details: name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address;
  • a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
  • a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and — under penalty of perjury — that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.

What we do when we receive a valid notice

When we receive a notice that includes the elements above, we will remove or disable access to the identified material we display as soon as we reasonably can, normally within a few days. Where we can, we will let the affected performer or party know that we acted and pass on the notice (which includes your contact details) so they can respond. We may also decline or reverse a removal if a notice is incomplete, misdirected, or later shown to be mistaken.

If your material was removed: counter-notice

If material of yours was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you can send a counter-notice to info@myfavecamgirl.com. To be effective, it should include (per 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)):

  • your physical or electronic signature;
  • identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal;
  • a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification;
  • your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court and will accept service of process from the party who filed the original notice.

We may forward a valid counter-notice to the original complainant. In the ordinary DMCA process, the removed material may be restored unless the complainant files a court action within the statutory window.

Repeat infringers

We will, in appropriate circumstances and at our discretion, restrict or bar access for, and refuse to feature, anyone we find to be a repeat infringer of others’ copyright.

A word of caution on false claims

Please only send a notice or counter-notice about material you have the rights or standing to act on. Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), anyone who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing — or that it was removed by mistake — can be held liable for damages. If you’re unsure whether something is genuinely infringing, consider seeking legal advice before filing.

Other reports and questions

This page is specifically for copyright. To report other concerns — such as content featuring you or someone else without consent, or anything unlawful — please use our complaints and reporting route (or, if you’re a performer who just wants your own page down, our removals page). General questions are welcome at info@myfavecamgirl.com or via our contact page.
